Question 2

Can I see restaurant menus online?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Many restaurants on our platform have digital QR code menus. You can browse their full menu with prices, photos, and descriptions directly on their restaurant page. The same menus are available when you scan the QR code at the restaurant table.

Question 3

What is the best time to visit Batumi?

Accepted Answer

Summer (June–September) is peak season with warm weather perfect for beaches. Spring and autumn offer pleasant temperatures for sightseeing. Winter is mild but rainy, ideal for the Botanical Garden and indoor dining.

Question 4

Is Batumi expensive for dining out?

Accepted Answer

Batumi is very affordable compared to European cities. A meal at a budget restaurant costs $5–10, mid-range is $15–25, and fine dining is $30–50 per person. Street food like khachapuri is under $3.

Question 5

What Georgian dishes should I try in Batumi?

Accepted Answer

Must-try dishes include khinkali (dumplings), khachapuri Adjarian-style (boat-shaped bread with egg and butter), lobiani (bean bread), churchkhela (walnut candy), and fresh churchkhela. Ajika (spicy sauce) and walnut-based dishes are Adjarian specialties unique to the region.

Question 6

Is Batumi safe for tourists?

Accepted Answer

Batumi is considered one of the safest cities for tourists in the region. It has a low crime rate, and the main tourist areas — the Boulevard, Old Town, and the beach — are well-lit and patrolled. Standard precautions apply as in any city.

Question 7

Is there parking in central Batumi?

Accepted Answer

Parking near the old Boulevard is limited. Other paid parking options include the car park in front of Metro City, Grand Mall, and Alliance Palace — all are paid parkings. Booking an airport transfer or renting a car with a driver is often more convenient for getting around central Batumi.

Question 8

Do restaurants in Batumi speak English?

Accepted Answer

English is widely spoken in tourist-facing restaurants and cafes along the Boulevard and in the city centre. Many menus are available in English, Russian, and Georgian. QR code digital menus on our platform are in multiple languages for easy ordering.
